Froonium Ricky: How He Spent His Spring Vacation
Richard Manning, one of the writers and producers of Farscape, spent his time during the writers strike putting together a little 10 minute teaser for a show. He put it together along with a raft of his friends, as a sort of labor of love — and probably a time killer, too.
I think it’s very well made, especially given that it probably had a shoestring budget. It’s got very clever use of locations, good casting, solid acting, an effective soundtrack, and some good bits of dialog. I found it entertaining and intriguing enough for me to wish I knew more about what would happen next.
