Get a load of this amazing, jaw-dropping, eye-brow raising, drop dead gorgeous picture of Virginia Hey.  She is one smoking hot babe!
If you’re a fan of smoking hot babes, I think you owe it to yourself to get your own copy of that picture. No comments
Ben Browder has apparently decided not to continue the gig with CW’s Hellcats.¬† According to his manager:
After long discussions with the Producers, Ben has decided not to do the series as he has a couple of films that he would like to do and if he went ahead with the series, he would not be able to do them. It was a difficult decision as you can understand.
So, the bad news is we won’t be seeing Ben in a weekly show on broadcast TV.¬† The good news is we won’t have to sit through a deadly dull juvenile series just to catch a glimpse of a¬† Farscape alumnus.¬† (Most fans seem to agree that sitting through an episode of this show would be like spending time in “the seventh circle of hell”.)¬† Whew!
The news was posted at Terra Firma, by longtime Farscape fan LAScaper, who runs BenBrowderPortal.com.¬† No word on if he at least appears in the pilot, or if his role will be re-cast and re-shot, or even if the pilot will air.¬† (I’m betting on re-casting and re-shooting.)

Confirmation of recasting from the Deadline Hollywood site.No comments
The CW must have just wrapped up their Upfronts presentation because suddenly there’s news from all over that CW has picked up Hellcats.¬† (“Upfronts” is the name for the presentations that all the networks make to their advertisers about their upcoming fall schedule.) ¬† You may recall that this is the TV series pilot that had Farscape alumnus Ben Browder in the cast.
Does this mean that Mr. Browder has landed in a series?¬† Maybe.¬† There is still a possibility that the network may want his character dropped, or re-cast, or perhaps Mr. Browder will have other commitments.¬† But so far the series pilot has succesfully navigated one of many hurdles in making it on to a network’s fall schedule.
Let’s all wish Ben good luck with this.No comments
From Tubefilter News comes the word that Ben Browder will appear as Nick Naught, in “Naught For Hire”, a new web series that will be … uh … broadcast — or should that be *webcast* – on the web beginning this December. Based on a novel called “All for Naught”, the series begins production this summer, and will consist of thirteen 6-minute episodes. The show features Nick Naught as a noir-type private dick, but is set 20 years in the future, where common objects are embedded with Artificial Intelligence (A.I.).
There is a fun, interactive website, where you can sign up for email updates (click on the file cabinets), and you can also follow the show’s Twitter feeds.
Young hipsters may also want to check out the originals:
I’m about as far from being cool as a person can be. On chilly days I wear socks with my sandals. I pack a sack lunch in plastic bags from the Piggly Wiggly, wear old lady underpants, and I drive an old Buick hulk. I even like POLKA music, for pete’s sake. (Although, to be fair, a lot of this is done to torment the nieces and nephews, driving them into eye-rolling frenzy. It’s fun. You ought to try it sometime.)
But, if I were the antithesis of me, which is young, svelte, and terminally hip, I might loiter a lot at Transistor, where they sell books, vinyl records, arty photographs, reel-to-reel tape decks, and an honest-to-god theremin (which itself is the antithesis of the accordian).
Here’s a couple of cool theremin videos.
Not that I would know from cool, really. No comments
